MBA department of Assam University bags first position (The Sentinel) SILCHAR, Jan 18: The department of Business Administration, Assam University, Silchar (AUS), has topped the list of B-Schools in Assam in career 360 B-School ranking 2012-13. The department has achieved this feat in a recent survey conducted by career 360 magazine. Moreover, the department bagged 20th position among the All India Public Sector B-Schools, as per Career 360 B-School ranking 2012-13. The department, which is under Jawaharlal Nehru School of Management Studies, is ranked fourth in the eastern region of India and in the North-Eastern region, as per nationwide survey, it is only one notch behind IIM- Shillong. It is important to mention that the department bagged Amar Ujala B School Excellence Award 2012 in the eastern zone in November last year.
