Sub: Violations of rules & regulation by Yashoda Hospital ,
Malakpet, Req-Reg.
With subject Cited above it is to state that the above said Hospital is running violating rules & regulation prescribed to run a Super Specialty Hospital . To avoid incidents like which happened in Calcutta necessary action should be taken against the Hospital authorities.
1) The existing Building which was built during 1980 has been modified and
extra 11 floors has been added without prior permission or Intimation
from the GHMC.The Cellar is used for outpatient in which hundreds of
People visit and are being suffocated. There is neither space for visitors to
sit nor any Drinking water facility has been kept for poor patients. The
Electric Transformers are fixed on foot paths. The Hospital authorities has
built an Illegal corridor between their two Buildings which may fall any
time endangering the life of residents and passerby people.
2) There is no parking place for the Doctors, Staff or the visitors due to
which the vehicles are thrown on the main road and lanes giving problem
to the residents and passerby peoples.
3) The existing fire break up system is not working and the existing fire stair
Case is built on foot path on an Iron steps with a space of 1 feet. How
Come hundreds of people will run out or the emergency people enter
When if some fire incident occurs.
4) There are only two lifts one to carry patients and one for visitors, we have
to wait for more than ½ hour for a lift to come.
5) The existing rule to keep the Aarogya Mitra in the entrance of the
Building is being violated and the said Aarogya Mitra is kept in a cellar in
a dark area in some far away Building and there is no one to guide the
Aarogyashri patients. The old Age patients have to go inside the Dark
Cellar to meet the Aarogya Mitra.
6) The Drinking water storage is in an inhabited condition with dead animals
Inside the water storage facility on the terrace and in cellar.
Hence it is requested to form a special teem with GHMC, Fire Department, HMWS&SB and Police Officials for inspection and necessary action against the Yashoda Hospital , Malakpet authorities. Necessary action taken may be intimidated to me.
